CREATING PRETTIES WITH ALEASE WORKSHOPS ARE NOW ACTIVE!!!

My first class was with a bunch of lovely ladies.  We created beautiful Bible scripture writing journals.  We had such a wonderful time that I decided to repeat this class on Saturday, August 13th for those that could not make it or that are on the waiting list.  There is still space available for this next workshop.  If you are interested, please send me a message via email: alease.roy@gmail.com.  I will then send you a registration form.  All supplies are included for this workshop along with a light snack.  Please look out for more workshops to come.  I am really excited about what I have planned for Christmas.

SPOOKY cards!!

Boo!  Did I scare you with these spooky cards??  lol!!  It's all in fun!  I made these three spooky cards inspired by a wall hanging that my dear friend Sandy created.  I started out by cutting a circular card shape from a corrugated card from Michael's.  I then started layering my embellishments on top with a piece of spooky tulle underneath it all.  I love having all of my embellishments out at a hands reach so that I can quickly create with having to stop and search for things.  I see it right in front of me.  The vintage looking BOO is a Tim Holtz die that includes the 31 as well.  I love that I was able to pull out some oldies but goodies from my Sizzix die collection.  These were really fun to make and came together quite easily.  Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

HAPPY FALL YALL!!

I had the best time this weekend at an all day crop with some beautiful crafty ladies.  I was so happy that I was able to complete lots of cards and have a good time too.  For these two cards, I used some embellishments that I had in my stash.  I love how colorful and cheerful these cards turned out to be.
This week here in SoCal, we are heading into fall with 90 degree weather, but that is not going to stop me from creating some fun cards and home decor.  I love the fall and miss living in the Midwest for this one reason.  Both of these cards can be found in my Etsy shop Pretties by Alease.  Thanks so much for stopping by and know that I appreciate each and everyone of your.  Please leave a comment if you like.  Have a blessed week and HAPPY FALL.

Chirstmas Cards

Hello,
This weekend I attended an all day crop that was hosted by Patti.  Some of you may know here from FB or YT.  I had an amazing time crafting with a wonderful group of talented ladies.  The crop was held at a scrapbook store called Hearts & Crafts in Covina, California.  It is a  really nice store and if you are ever that way, it is worth taking a peek.
I had a few projects that I had in mind to make, but it just didn't go as planned.  I think I may have been having too much fun!  Needless to say, I only was able to make two Christmas cards and I love them both.
This first card started out with me coloring the snowman to be used as tags, but once again, my tag ened up being a card.  The stamp was found at garage sale for very little and I colored as well as paper pieced.
This second card was very quick and simple.  I used a couple pieces of paper along with cardstock to create this cheerful holiday card.  Of course I had to adorn it with that big gingham bow.  Thanks for stoppping by and leave a comment if you like.

Shabby Chic Gingerbread Houses

This is such a pretty Spellbinders die.  I used it to create these shabby chic gingerbread houses and I just love the end result.

Tiny Christmas Tags!!!

Boy, do I love these adorable tiny tags.  These were so much fun to make.  I was able to make them using my punches and a retired Sizzix mitten die.  These are going to be so much fun to share and use on packages.  I am having a ball getting ahead this year with my Christmas crafting.

GINGERBREAD PEOPLE

I had so much fun creating gingerbread people the other day.  I actually ended up with an entire basket full.   I used an old Sizzix die to create these adorable gingerbread people.  I got my inspiration from Jill Norwood and Pinterest.  Go over to Jill Norwood on YT and check out her awesome card and tag videos.  Lots of inspiration can be found on her channel.

I think this year I will have enough tags and cards ready to share with family and friend.  What kinds of Christmas projects are you working on?
