Christmas in July

Every year I promise myself that I will not wait until December to start making Christmas cards.  Yet, every year I find myself at the last minute trying to scramble to make a few special cards and tags for the holiday.  Well, the other day after watching Jill Norwoods' video showing a batch of her Christmas tags for this year, I decided to follow suit and make a few.  I'll put the link to Jill's video down below.  Here are the cards that I created.

I had all intentions of making tags, but ended up with cards.  I do like that way they turned out and can't wait to make more.  
For these two cards, I used Sizzix deer die that coordinates with a Basic Grey paper line.  I also love using glitter on my Christmas cards, so I had lots of fun glittering up these cards.  I hope you like them.  Please leave a comment and thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

    I had so much fun talking with you today! A beautiful post of your gorgeous cards! Thanks for sharing my video too! You are too sweet! I am just posting a video of some cards I finally got made for Chi-Town Traci who is celebrating 1100 subbies! Now off to have a water fight with my boy! :) Jill

    Your cards are so sweet, Alease. Love this cute deer too, and all the glitter makes it perfect. I also love this color combo of mint and pink. And what a great idea to use buttons as the center of the snowflakes.
